Hi,

I have just taken some tyres off my Range Rover classic and put them on my disco. The Range Rover had been sat for a couple of years and the rear tyres were completely flat (they had covered about 500 miles whilst on the Range Rover). They even stayed flat when taken off the car.

I got air in them and they have now been on the car for three days and done about 75/100 miles on different roads and speeds.

Am I likely to encounter any problems with them as they were flat for that long?

any perishing to the side walls ??? if so there illegal to use on the road

long as you stay below 10 MPH when Laning and stay off the Motorway I'd reckon you'll be OK.

Could be a bit iffy. A few years ago I had some which had been flat for ages, and after a few hundred miles I noticed cracks appearing under the tread, where it had been flat. Scary!

Thanks for the advice guys there doesn't seem to be any perishing (they weren't in direct sunlight) Have run them a bit more and seem ok will just have to watch them tried them with a trailer on the back yesterday but will just have to keep an eye on them I think.
