Hi,

I'm thinking of some new tyres for my 109 LWB Prima diesel Land rover and I was wonder if anyone has used this place before?

I'm looking for something mainly for road use as seldom go off road, at most it would be a little light green laining. I only use the landy on rare odd weekends so wont be clocking up loads of miles.

Could I have some comments on these please...

Many thanks in advance

Are you sure you want that size?

235/85R16 is the equivalent of 7.50x16 which I think would be better.

The Kingpin shown is a remould version of a Michelin pattern. You could get Military take off Michelins from Vass in Ampthill for the same money. They'd be miles better.

hi,
Sorry I just looked at the larget size and yes they come in about £70 each...
Just sent a mail to get a price on some

Goodyear Hi Miler Xtra grip 6 PLY

as I have 2 of them on the back already!

No worries fella, i'll get the digital snapper off my nipper when she gets home.
The wheels would need a paint/spray job, as they are ex military jobbies.

I'll keep an eye out.
I'm away on a short break in a couple of weeks so was hoping to get a match set of rubber on the landy. At the moment I have security tiers on the back (a bit like good year high milers) and something smiler to the Michelin on the front. I kind of get a mixed road rumble, not a problem on short trips but wouldn't mind a uniform rumble if I'm going to be in it for a few hours LOL
