Hi All

I have a duff prop shaft uj.... Will take a couple of days to get a new joint here and fit it.... I have the shaft out and the diff lock on (defender 90 300tdi by the way).... With my old 2a I happily used it for local running about in the same state while parts were sourced.... I'm less familiar with the transmission on the defender.... Is there any reason I shouldn't use it for light local road use with one prop shaft removed and the diff lock on??

Many Thanks
Keith

Will be fine, just take thing easy, I have run around on mine for a couple of weeks while sourcing parts.

If driving on front axle only take extra care. There can be some odd pulling on the steering wheel as the front diff does its stuff going around corners.

Thanks for the info..... As I thought, but I'm more familiar with the series.... Good to have it confirmed.... In the past I have driven with the front axle only (this time its RWD) and know what you mean about the odd lunges through the steering.
Many Thanks
Keith
