Two connectors below windscreen.

Was looking under the bonnet with my local mechanic the other day and noticed two pretty heavy duty looking connectors on the panel between the engine bay and the windscreen, one either side of the screen.

Mechanic didn't know what they were for and I've no idea, best I could think of was for a heated screen or spots.

Anyone help me out on what they are for?

Thanks, thought that was probably what they were but wasn't sure.

Shame they aren't connected to anything really
