turret bias spring adjustment

Hi i have just fitted a slick shift and a new turret , I have adjusted it and it works fine . But ive got this niggling thought about how much pressure goes onto the pins and if the adjusters should take most of the strain . I feel that iv'e done it ok , but i was more concerned about the 3rd to 4th and play than how much pressure was on the pins . I don't really want to do surgery again as to get the smaller rubber gaiter off the check the adjusters i will need to pull the foam pad out again and as its also new i don't want to damage it . Am i worrying over nothing or should i check .
