Hi guys,

Has anyone converted a 7 seat disco into a van? Just leaving the two front seats.
I have just bred off my dog and I wil soon have 4 dogs to transport around with me and don't want to get rid of the disco.

I would appreciate some pictures or ideas

Thanks mike

it is doable why not just put the seats down and make a grile up so they cant get to the front then cut ot a bit of pluy thay goes overthe whole lot that way when you have to sell it is back to a car (with more value) easily :)

I'd agree with palace. Think you would regret puting panels behind the front seats. It will restrict your view.

You could easily mount a dog gaurd on a low board to keep them out of the front....and easily to convert back if needed.

I have done it to mine , might be able to get u some pictures tomorrow . I have pit bikes and use it for work so find it miles easier to use as a van than say , a Berlingo or similar because of two side doors .

I just removed rear seats and made a cubby to disguise the rear footwell . Its brilliant IMO :D

Heres a couple of picture mate , sorry about the quality , iphones arent good for everything:p

Pics arnt brill but from what I can make out that's just what I wanna do, how fix u fix the plywood sheet to the floor of the disco?

Yeah , i didnt have my camera so phone had to do .

I didnt ply the floor , i put used some 5mm rubber chequer plate cut it to suit and just laid it over the carpet and sound deadeneing .

The box behind the seats is a kind of bulk head with 2 cubbys in for tow ropes and jack and things .

The box in the middle houses CB radio and (not yet fitted) light switches , 2 12v cig lighters and a aux fuse board .

The dog guard fits onto the edges of the bulkhead box and then secures to the roof .
