Hi, I have a freelander TD4, don't want to sound incredibly thick :( but I've got a split hose - mechanic said it was a turbo pipe and taped it up (which worked for about two days ) I sent off for what I thought the pipe was, to replace it myself, but the thing that came back wasn't it - PNH000020 - Hose Intercooler to Manifold. The actual pipe I need goes into the top of the engine (just under the cover) on the passenger side, then sort of doubles back on itself (kind of L shaped)and connects a bit further down, it's connected by two jubilee clips - can someone PLEASE tell me what it's called? Have searched net, but can't seem to find it and am heartily sick of taping itup every couple of days... The whistling noise when accelerating's a bit embarassing too ;)

PNH000020 is the long hose across the top of the engine at the front, the small L shaped one on the right hand side at the front is WAP000080. (goes onto the egr valve)

The pipe OP is talking about is in the right hand lower corner. If that's indeed the one, this pic saves you 24 hours.....:D:D:D

Oh, & you haven't wasted your money, the other one will probably want replacing soon too. Then there's the third one from the turbo to intercooler..............................one thing at a time though.

On my picture you can, at the lhs, see the piece of flat rubber that I attached there over the screw holding the airintake (attached to the plastic intake with a black cabletie), that underlying screw also comes in to ruin the lefthand big pipe as well, with my "intervention" I hope to avoid this.
