was wondering if anyone on here had used these tuning box

that type just tells the system to dump in more fuel.look on ROVERRONS website for a decent system.

they work, but not that well, its not liner for a start,all it does is fool the ECU inot thinking the fuel rail pressure is low, thereby increasing fuel rail pressure, and therefore fuelling.

tim,which one are you on about.the op's one,or the roverron??

Tuning-diesels superb diesel performance for less

very highly regarded and respected on this forum, synergy2 appears to be the best for the freelander td4

although the RON boxes dont tlook too disimilar, its just they affect 2 sensors rather than one, mainly the fuel rail and the MAP. or the MAF and MAP.
should be slightly better results than just the fuel rail, but still not a substitute for a decent remap IMO.

i had one of Rons tuning modules on my rover 75 doozil,all i can say is it made a huge difference to the power,it removed the flat spot and the fuel consumption did improve slightly.
