I am trying to remove a Parrot Bluetooth device that has been installed into my Disco 3, I have managed to remove the items in the center console, i.e. the three main panels including the radio and the heater unit, this has given me access to the wires and the bodges that the previous owner made instaling this device but the main unit for the Parrot has been dropped into a hole behind the steering wheel.

The unit does not work and yes I have checked the fuses, but it could be the connection to the little blue box (wherever that may be), I have tried gently pulling it to no avail and basically a now stuck in a mess.

The hole is way toosmal to get your hand in and nothing seems to move so I have a horrible thought that it may be cable tied in place or wedged in behind something.

Is there a way into this area?

Hi

u see in the pic the panel with the grill in it, that just pulls off, also the large panel underneath the steering wheel also pulls off, that should allow u access to see in there

the panel with the grill is the cabin temperature sensor and will have a wire attached in the back

imagine wires will go behind the glove box for the fuse box, also in the centre have a look right by the heater box, at the back or up behind the passenger / drivers side to see if the module has been tucked away up there , top of carpet etc

also here the full manual

Assume the ign and live wires shown are those in the centre console

Hope that helps

Also wonder if the microphone goes up the windscreen A pillar and then into the front centre light ??
