Going to view a g-reg Discovery..

Said mileage is 125K miles.

After looking at the forum threads and sales pages, that seems very low for such an old girl. She should have done more like 225K.

So, what are the chances of it being the real mileage?

I know it's a hard question to answer - depends on who drove it and where to etc, but what are the CHANCES - I mean - have you ever knowN an old disco with such a low mileage or is it totally unheard of. If unheard of, then the chances are slim -see what I mean

The owner before the current owner was not a nice bloke so I'm told (whatever that means)
CHEERS

The only way to verify the mileage is with service history and MOT certs. It seems unlikely that 125k is the true mileage bearing in mind that a G reg motor is nigh on 17 years old chap. That equates to just over 7K per year (unlikely)

well anythings possible. but yes the chances are slim. what is the asking price?

ps. ive seen 20 yr old cars with less than 60k, genuine miles.
pps. weve got a lady friend who does no more than 3k miles per annum!

could be said mileage, you never know. good way of telling is looking at the discs see if theres a ridge in them, thats assuming they havent been changed. also look at the drivers seat for wear and tear on the door side edge.
how many owners on the log book !
so you think the nasty man might have a realy realy fast drill thats good in reverse then.
