Don't know if any of you can help me with this,
but i require or would like some insurance cover for my garden maintenance and tree work sideline(which has actually been taking precedence of late),
i have chainsaw license, and want to be covered for bringing down trees in folks gardens,
lightweight tree surgery at moment, i've had some high price quotes from leading insurers, which to be honest are water tight policies but probably more suitable for day in day out pro's rather than meself who's new to the game on a limited basis,
Anyone know of any brokers that might be able to help me, or have similar experience to mine?

Excellent!
My mate worked on jets in the middle east, he had to repair the belly of one plane after the pilot decided to scare his mate driving down the road.
Put a nice dent in the roof of the car too!!!:D

I'm right with BoB on this one. Got my public liability insurance from Axa, couldn't be more helpful, and were one of the cheapest for what I wanted.

£185 for 5 million of cover, monthly payment of about £15.60, and had no worries about what I did, or where I worked, indoors or out, including prestigious buildings, and covered working at height using cherry picker, ladders etc.
