tree slider fitting

bought tree sliders that have pre drilled holes-they fit over the sills.they are jackable.
can i get away with big self tappers or do i need to buy long bolts to go right through sills.not all the holes line up both sides so will have to use some self tappers?
the sills are in good condition so plenty of good metal for either method.

are you sure the sills dont have to come off?

why not use some double sided tape or no-nails ?

definitely fit over the sills.

using "I'm a girl" as an excuse is kinda feeble

but int girlies feeble .......erm no theyre not ere comes the mrs :brick:

not fitted them to a disco before but your gonna need bolts not self tappers, bear in mind the tree sliders are supposed to be able to take a hefty wack or the wieght of the landy in the case of jackable jobbies,
not worth bodging them on just fit them right first time.

1, Tree sliders/rock sliders:- it's all in the name, got to be able to take the weight of the vehicle on em. So bolts all the way thro and spreader plates on the back, sod it just weld the buggers on.
2, Girlees:- either you're a delicate flower who needs protecting from the big bad world or your a fully paid up member of the human race with rights and responsibilities CHOOSE.

thanks for help-not using poor girly as excuse but I do all the work on landy i can (partner helps sometimes but then wants payment of some kind !) will get bolts thank you
