Other Tratters n flip flops

Fer many years tratterers have been unfairly picking on our hippo's to make themselves feel betterer about their own rust heaps. Making up stories about our hippo's having faults and being no good. I knew one day a tratterer would let the cat out the bag and tell us the real truth. Well that day has come. One of them there flip flop wearing tratterers has put up a video of the truth.

Very funny Hippo. I don't mind the Defender, but I prefer the Freelander. I don't have to close the door 3 times, or put up with water dripping on my feet, because LR put big flaps in the front.
Us Freelander drivers can enjoy driving them without all the little annoying quirks of the Defender.

That makes me feel a bit better about my Hippo. I'm not big on Flip-Flops, or as we used to call them, Thongs.
Not big on either type of Thong actually, too much chafing.

I have to slam the door on my tratter 6 times before I can set off and even then it pops open again when I go left.

You should wedge ya flip flop in the door jam.

Or just not refit the door when the hing fails. After all it's so draughty inside a tratter so a missing door or two isn't going to matter.
