Hi Total Newbie here,

We have a 2011 Freelander 2 SD4 Sport LE, 38K on the clock.

It's coming up with a 'Transmission Fault' Traction reduced message. We have taken it to a local garage (and friend) who ran the diag which came up with...

All Terrain Control Module....
Code U0 437 or UO 437, invalid data received from the rear differential control module.

Unfortunately, they can't help us further as they couldn't find what the code exactly related to in terms of being able to repair it. Also, it did have the known rear diff repair done under warranty last year.

Before I have to concede defeat and take it Landrover, I thought that I test the water here.

It's also typical as I'm about to sell it!!

Any help/advice greatly received.

Thanks in advance.

I don't think there are many fl2 owners on hear yet.
You might want to try freel2.com the might be able to help.

Hi, you should also have DTC's in your rear diff control module which you should read and act on. the usual fault is the pump. Remove the pump and if the inlet filter is gummed up it may need a new pump, if you do need a new pump also change the filter. But as said check the DTC's for the rear diff first.
