As per title just done this very fiddly job on the disco, after a bit of swearing at those stupid penny washer things that hold the small springs on the shoes i finally got them on, couldnt get the screw out that holds the drum on either, tried heat and lots of penetrating fluid but ended up with a hammer and screwdriver and managed to get it loose, once off i cut nice new slot with the angle grinder so i can now use a big screwdriver lol, then after connecting the hanbrake lever the push button wouldnt work properly so took it to bits and discovered the rod inside the lever wasnt quite in the center so a little persuasion with a screwdriver it was now centered and working well, i also discoverd a neat little trick, if you have trouble lifting the steel hanbrake cable into the lever to insert the pin, the red tube that comes with the standard bottle jack has just the right size slot in the end that fits over the cable and with a small piece of wood under it lever the cable up and insert the pin lol
