Transfer-box from a Range Rover to a Defender

I'm trying to sort out a vibration problem in my Defender. I have access to a transfer box from a Range Rover. Can anyone advise me if the RR box will fit and if any specific problems that I might encounter. I know if fitting a Disco T/box I have to modify the handbrake fitting.

rrc lt230 is same as disco box ,borgwarner will fit but you need chassis mounts and longer front prop plus hi/lo linkage

, thanks for the info. I will have to check out which type it is. All I know at the moment is its off a V8
