Trans-pennine run 2007

Hi, anybody out there doing the transpennine run tomorrow ?,
for those that wonder wot it is it`s a commemorative run for commercial vehicles only, starts off in Lancashire from Birch services on the M62 & goes on to use the old original A road route to get over the pennines to Yorkshire, goes thro places like Rochdale, Todmorden, Halifax, Bradford, Otley & ends at Harrogate on the stray with all the vehicles lined up for display, starts at approx 07.00hrs & arrives at Harrogate 11.30 hrs onwards, makes a bit of an interesting & alternative day.
Apparently this is the 39th year of running.

Dint do the run, but had a quick shufty over the vehicles lined up on the Stray on me way back from Homebase (more Hammerite). Some lovely restored vehicles

Hi ya. pretty good eh !! should of seen the start at birch, busiest the services have been all year! interesting route we were taken on over the pennines to Harrogate, it never ceases to amaze me the efforts that owners put in to their old vehicles & how joe public respond with so much enthusiasm at these events, did you see my limestone SWB S3 with the
blue hood ?.
Overall a long but very enjoyable event.
