Hey up, ok bare with me, i'm a bit new to this.
I've just bought a modified 90 with what I think is a 200TDi taken form a discovery. I'm trying to work out what transmission it has attached to it. I believe its a LT77 but haven't been able to confirm. anyone shed any light on this for me?

Engine: 12L*****A
Gearbox : 50A0165785D
Trans: 20D052314B

Not been so experienced with Landies I've noticed the trans box and gear box after a good run, are getting pretty hot - I've flushed both boxes to ensure there's no water in the oil, i'm just wondering if the gearbox/trans box are suitable for the engine?
Do you know any other causes for them to be running hot?
Do they run hot after an hour cruising at 50mph down the motorway?

Cheers

Is this a wind up? Seriously unless the oil is black and burnt or horrible noises-don't worry

**** off to LRO If you want club anal, is this couple of ****s thread?
sorry It's club cock sucker, if one would like to pick a fight then feel free-just be sure you know who your picking on

If the gear box gets too hot to touch then yes you have a problem. Where is reverse on the lever? if it's forwards and to the left yu have a LT77 if it's backwards and to the right it's an R380. Unless it's an automatic of course :D

I don't need to call you any names I'm sure your family and friends find your both anal and boring-blinding couple of traits.

sweety

so it wasn't you that just sent me a PM then eh ?

oh and why yer at it what made you think this thread was a wind up ?

Sean I see you and your new friend have just bonded like a couple of ****s. I would suggest you found out what box is in it either by the gear arrangement or Ashcroft's video.

Colour of oil is far better guide to condition and operating temperature.

Seeing as you and your new friend as so compatible, carry on.
I didn't pm you I left a visitor message so unless you bothered to delete it others could see I thought you are a Prat

So If you fix **** why the **** do you need our help, cock
Before bothering to tell me I don't know ****- try looking at my recent photo gearbox rebuild
