hi all, went to get a new tyre yesterday and have the tracing done, think the missis hit a curb as was pulling to oneside after she used it!!!

anyhow tyre went on and was waiting for them to say its all done and the guy comes out and says he cant adjust the tracking as all the steering adjusters are seized???

he showed that the tracking was out but nothing too serious, now im no expert when it comes to looking at the steering set up on any car, but he showed me the long rod that runs the width of the car and said that was seized and the rod at the front has seized but managed to loosen the two bolts on it, he done the bolts back up and off i went.

I went straight down to my local indy(gratech) and have booked it in with them for wednesday but can anyone give me a hint as to what roughly will need to be done and if a chance a ball park figure £?????

Sorry so long winded just trying to brace myself for the bill!!

If its the Nuts/bolts that are seized then go get some "Penatrating oil (Like "Plus-Gas") & coat the fookers tomoz ....by Weds They'll be a breeze to loosen off & adjust ...

Sounds to me like the Garage just couldn't be arsed to do it ... lazy fookers !!!!

yeah thats what i thougth but the guy even put some heat on them for a few seconds, its due an oil change so fook it might aswell have them do it while they're looking at it. i know i know lazy!!!!
