The oil stays cleaner with lpg but I reckon the oil is still knackered from doing its job, I always changed mine as per original spec

Not clear on how 85% of the bang makes the engine run hotter. You should start a thread on here re: conversion and what spec is on offer for £1200. There are so many cowboy converters out there it is ridiculous. I used to get service items from a converter. One day I walked in to see one of his lads drilling a fùck off hole in a LR boot floor with a hole saw to access a dodgy sender on the tank. This hadn't been handed over to the customer and he did this to save dropping the underslung LPG tank. Saw one on this forum where injectors had been conveniently drilled into a Thor manifold rather than equidistant from the valves.

Hi cool tide, don't know what system he has quoted me on he says he can source the best parts for the job, he was recommended to me buy some guys on forum can't remember who , he's supposed to do a good honest job , on the phone he sounded like he knew his stuff if that means anything ; at the end if the day it's a lot of money and down to fingers crossed with any fitter I think , thanks .

On this forum then sounds good.
LPG converting a distributorless efi is a little more involved as the mechanics say after they've finished sucking through teeth :)

LPG takes longer to burn than petrol so the spark needs to be advanced to account for this. Longer burn creates more heat. Move your hand over a flame smartly then do it slowly feel the difference. :D:D

to tell the truth i told the wife it costs half less to run a rangey on LPG so she would not bug me about how much money i spend on fuel. plus she then agreed to buy one ha ha ha glad she dont look on here. ive been putting money away for parts when needed. like torgue converter. she thinks it will be £150 fitted instead of £850 it has to be done.

You've missed calorific value from the equation;)
Try waving your hand across a flame, then try it with an oxy acetylene burning torch
