I had a big grin on my face for a couple of days after this, I had just got my series out of the garage after it had been laid up since last year (i bought a RR Classic as i was doing a lot of miles) to give it a dust off and get it ready for an MOT, that day a large tractor towing a water trailer (full i might add!) broke down right outside my house on route to a building site. At first i was a bit apprehensive not wanting to look a bit of a dick if i failed but i offered the driver a tow, the driver didnt anticipate success, now the obvious choice would have been the RR with V8 power but i went for my trusty series instead, IT WAS FECKIN HEAVY but she did it although i was a bit annoyed when the tractor decided to brake and my front end went skywards, bit gutted i didnt get a phot but the missus didnt seem to share my excitement at towing heavy stuff about!
She passed her MOT today (the car that is, not the missus), for the price of a new rear reflecter, well happy! The roof is coming off tommorrow and the bikini hood is going on, Landie Life is good.......

Thats quite impressive, I did have buried somewhere a photo or 2 of a 2a landy moving an Artic with an empty trailer on behind it, reckon it must weigh about 12 to 15 tons or so.

Trown all kinds of spanners into works, seals gone, bearings stripped and head gaskets leaking, and this was only getting it out of a barn!!!!!
