towbar electrics fitting

Hi all,

Can anyone enlighten me(sorry rubbish pun) as to the coorect path for the towing electrics. i have purchased brit part towing harness ymz101030 and i know its probably very simple, but to make me swear less when fiiting can any one point me in the right direction of the hole the loom goes through to get to the vehicle loom socket.

Is there a diagram out there on web land??

assuming you are standing looking at the back of your vehicle, route the cabling along the towbar to the right hand side. If you lay under the vehicle at the back on the right hand side (i.e. hinge side of the rear door) and look up, you will see a rubber grommet. push this out and then when you take the trim off inside the boot, you will see daylight. The loom is there, and has it's own plug on it. If your new loom has the plug, just plug it in. If not, just cut it off and join the two together in a method your happy with (terminal block (not best) through crimp (better) solder and sleeve (best))
