Torque to me...

I'm interested to know how much torque the 300 tdi can produce in low range. (I'm assuming it's not 265nm as quoted by parkers because even a diesel Mondeo will produce more than this by a mile. 320 Nm!!!!!!!)

in the file I submitted to renumber with french plates my '94 TDi, the spec sheet provided by the french homologation authority has it listed as 264 Nm

(just to make you dream, the current SDV6 is listed at 600 Nm

)

there is only one field for "max torque" and it says "264 Nm @ 1800 rpm", so obviously they only measure torque at the engine ouput
