Top Swivel King Pin - Help :)

hi guys,

thanks for looking. i have been having some issues with my swivel housings as you may have seen from my previous post. the conclusion was to renew all bearings and "re calibrate for want of a better term" the swivel housing.

the parts have arrived today and i am cleaning everything up and fitting the new seals and what have you. when i noticed quite a difference between thew old top pin and the new. see image below



is the new type specific to the bearing? the old one looks as if it did have a stub on the top at some point?

which one would you fit? or is it a case of see which one feel best?

am i correct in thinking that the style pin i have is designed to sit inside the bearing directly on the rollers? i had nothing to compare it it as the existing bearing was completly disentergrated

its ok, i had a brain fart and realised what the problem was! in future maybe it best to let me ramble on a bit before anyone tells me how much of an idiot i have been.

there was a reason i couldn't find the other bit of the bearing!
