Unfortunately despite my best efforts, I have created a couple grooves inside the bush housing area of the Top Link Assembly rear suspension (NTC2706). effectively when using a hacksaw to cut out the outer sleeve, I cut too far.

I can clean them up easy enough, but i'll be left with a couple grooves. I considered getting new top links, but they are pricy! So my question is - will I be ok using them as they are? If the new bush comes with a metal outer bush, I guess there is little chance of there being an issue? I think If I used poly bushes then it would be more of an issue as it could 'catch' the bush and hold it.

Thoughts?

Oh no, it's chunky steel and I've only cut a couple grooves maybe 1mm deep max!

Thanks for the reply :)
