Hello to all
I will hopefully be picking up my 300tdi defender from liveridge 4X4 a week tomoz, keeping my fingers crossed :)
What do you reckon are the top 5 things you must get sorted when you buy a defender, waxoyling etc?
Living in the northwest I think I will be getting a cat1 alarm & immobiliser fitted first as i'd hate for it to vanish. Although the insurance company didnt stipulate I had to have one, better to be safe than sorry?
wolf rims any good? Bridgestone tyres ok?
Sorry about the noob type questions, learning all the time though:cool:
Thanks in advance;)

Not sure how attractive landies are to thieves actually. I've never had any problems with mine - even when I've accidentally left the windows fully wound down for days on end.
What do you want to do with it? Drive around the streets? Off-roading? Overlanding? Work?

Hi. Thanks for the reply
I am wanting to stick my mountain bike in the back & camping gear, I'll probably be doing a bit of green laning but nothing to crazy I dont think.

Where have you been? Where do you think all those parts come from on eBay?

Someone will know the figures for some areas but I know that in some areas hundreds were stolen in a month!

Its the nature of the landy, people take them because they can sell the parts, and they can dissapper failrly quickly.
