Hello I've have recently got a RR Classic 3.9 V8 and I think it running too hot the needle stays put around town but when you get out or lift the bonnet it smells hot and the top hose is solid on a motorway run the needle stedily climbs right up to the red. I've put a new thermostat in no change. The heater never blows hot air it just gets tepid could that be part of the issue. Any advise would be greatfully recived. Cheers

get a sniff test done

Check for air locks. Look at the water pump. Back flush the system. Rad, heater matrix etc.
