I had this idea I'd swap the wheels for mine, remove the winch and bumper, sell them on then sell the disco on and end up with free wheels

Then reality set in, the wheels will be buckled, tyres will have huge eggs on the back, the winch won't work and the chassis is snapped in half and tied together with string

So as it looks like you're getting £6-700 worth of bolt on bits hasn't it sold at £1000 BIN with tax & mot

Or is it just scrap without the winch and wheels

You don't want those wheels.

There challenger wheels, cheap and nasty rip off of the original mach5. :(

I just don't get why it's so cheap and it hasn't sold, there's probably 500 people thinking the same

Looking at his feedback he's sold a lot of cars in the last couple of years

Could be older pictures.

I have a mate who went to see a defender truck cab and the pictures of it were great description great etc. When he got there the pictures where way out of date and it was tatty and had been abused.

Just remember, no one bobtails anything for any other reason that to get better approach angles for off roading.

Its going to be used.

Certainly worth a look at, at least, if you're close enough to do so.

If they don't want you to see it up close then yes, there's summat wrong! I wouldn't expect to sell (or buy) anything like that without people coming to see it first, and if someone did bid and win without seeing it first, I'd want a non-returnable deposit so they can't come, kick the tyres and walk away quite so easily ...

200tdi fetch really nice money just for the lump. 500 for the engine easy.

They go nicely on the Facebook pages I'm on, Theres a lot that will fetch a standard no tax or mot disco for 7-800 just to break it.
