to buy or not to buy

hi, ive just seen this land rover 110 csw for sale for £6.500 with 6000miles on the clock the only thing is that it's been in a smack and has front wing damaged slight suspension damage and bumper the only thing is that i don't know a lot about land rovers and in want to know would a smack like this course any damage to the chassis or any thing else on the landy i've emailed them and they say there nothing wrong with the engine nor the chassis just the wing and suspension and bumber . i want to know what to look for if i go and see it ie damage else where and a rough cost to repair. to see the land rover visit www.landroversalvage.co.uk it the epsom green 300tdi 110. so if any one can help please reply asap. the land rover is disance from where i live so i don't want a wasted trip to see it

looks like a straightforward repair to me - £500 tops.
Whether it's worth £6.5k is another matter.

looking at the extent of the damage there should not be any damage to the front of the chassis, but it looks like the axle has been pushed back as the wheel has hit the back of the wing, it may require a lower "hockey stick" arm and the chassis mounting checking for any signs of movement (the bracket is part of the outrigger so it could be easier to replace with a pattern part). Mileage is 60531 not 6000

for that sort of money i'd want some form of warranty that theres isnt anything wrong with the chassis - and i'd very much doubt if they'd give you that

it'd be worth a risk for £4k maybe but 6K5 is a bit ott
