Good evening, opinions please.

I have seen a lovely TD4 for sale, the only snags are that it is WHITE  and my partner and step-daughter are not too keen on the colour. Personally I think that it looks great against all that black plastic, do you think with it being white it will affect future resale values as there it very few Freelander’s made in this colour?
Also the part exchange price for my car is terrible but may still go ahead if people think that it is a good idea.
Thank you all :)

Hi Aldene - Welcome. In my humble opinion, white isn't generally a popular colour but hey, if the price is right (or, if not, use the colour as a bargaining point); you get a limited warranty thrown in and its got a good service history, why not?

i wouldn't class that as a snag! Mines white! and its such a nice colour when its washed and polished!
Plus you dont see that many of them about! not like the other 'common' colours ;)

people will git outta yer way cos they'll fink yer a rozzer

...but even the rozzer's these days have silver :p

White does affect the resale value, Silver and Black are best.

This is why the rozzer's are changing the colours of their cars cos the white cars don’t get as much resale as other colours!

cuts both ways, yes you probably will get a lower resale value, but the price you're buying it for is correspondingly lower (hopefully). Unless you're buying new ?
