Hi - I have just bought an old T35 and some new cable. I have fed it into the machine and it pulls it with no problems at all. The problem is that i cant get the cable back out again. I have pushed it out as far as i can with the backwards lever and the two levers have gone together at the top (like they do when it is in nuetral) but i can not pull it out. Anybody got any ideas. I have tried running some oil down the cable but it is not making any difference.

Any help please!!

Is it proper tirfor wire rope/?? and the proper size for the winch?? It should be able to be pulled or pushed thru either way when the cams are in release position. Have you pushed the front flat bar across to lock it open??

Here yu go yu can see what's what from here

Pull the flat bar out as far as it will go then pull the clutch lever up as far back as yu can and push the flat bar back in to lock it open. Rope should be freed up then.

I have had a good go at it this afternoon and managed to solve the problem. you have to squeeze the backwards lever and the releace lever together then push it foward until it clicks into the little notch at the top. Slides as free as you like then:p
