I have noticed my rear tires are wearing more on the outer edge (about 2mm more wear over the life of the tier). The pressures are correct, the toe in is correct, it appears to have negative camber but don’t think that can be adjusted anyway. Don’t think my driving technique would cause it (I don’t go drifting). I don’t carry a lot of load in the back.

Can anyone think of a cause or remedy?

I have more wear on the outer edge of the nearside rear tyre, it may be my driving, it may be the weight of the car.
but you will always get slightly more wear on the nearside due to the road camber and having to drive around roundabouts.

Mine are set to 32 psi which is what it says on the door pillar.

Just checked the wear on the near side is worse. Perhaps there is something in the road camber theory?

My tyre wear has always been even on all four tyres, which makes renewal time a bit expensive when you have to buy four at once :( Mine run at 32 psi, cold of course.
Can the camber be adjusted? I don’t know.
Could you take the tyres off the wheel and turn them round about halfway through their life?

I could turn it round on the rim but easier to replace them all when the worst one reaches the wear limit (its normally every 2 years just before winter)
I always replace all 4 at the same time as I think its good policy on 4x4’s.
I was just curious why the back left should wear differently when other than that they wear quite evenly?
Perhaps I will raise the pressure a bit.

Tires pressures on the FL2 change depending on the rim size when looking at the B pillar pressures.

My FL2 front near side wears more on the outer edge (near side edge) which seems to be normal on a FL2 as you can corner faster than you could on older cars. So owners tend to do that a bit more and you get the additional wear. I swop the two fronts over as the front oft side doesn't suffer the same. Mines running fsctory fit 19 inch rims, deflated from 35psi to 32 as advised by two different main dealers which is how they get rid of being able to feel the tread blocks at 35psi. But I have seen the same front near side wear on many other FL2's.

Has your FL2 rear wheel ever been on the front near side?
