AAARRRRGGGGHHHHHH...:doh::frusty::fighting::mil40:...i was up to replace the glow plugs and nr.4 came out without it's end...i cant grab it out cos it's stuck in there...now that i must take the head off anyway please tell me(coz i didnt find that info) is there a mileage when timing chain must be replaced???(mine has 160.000), coz if there is some close to that i better replace it now.

You could probably get it out with a compressor and or an extendable magnet.

They don't give a change mileage for the chain as it's meant to last the life of the engine.

Turn the engine over by hand SLOWLY until that piston is near the top, then have a go at retrieving it.
 
Thanks for that i'll give it a try.... i tried to make the engine to "spit" it out by starting it and rev it up to 3500 but the bloody thing is stubborn as hell:mad:.... i've sprayed it well with WD40 and will try again in the morning maybe i'll be more lucky......The last thing i want now is to dessasemble a great working engine.
 
:hurt: it didnt give me a chance.....i've tryed everything humanly possible...i took out the head finally.....it was so stucked that i had to use a screw tap and a hammer to drive it out.....the bloody thing was actualy ballooned in there:doh:.........that's it.
