Hi guys you all out there, here is my little problem end your advice is allway welcome my landy is a110 200tdi done 205.000 so i thought il change its belt having done it once all ready at 112.000km.So all done torqued as the good Original LR book says inc tensioner put back togeather starts on the button goes ok and the dam'n thing squeaks and by the sound of it its per eng revolution [ie] 2cam to1crank revs. And to cap it all when engine in warm it all most disapears. So i thought il ask your thoughts. shall i leave it alone? or take it to bits again? having allready done about 15 km trying it. problems problems:doh:

Dayco belt and britpart tensioner. had a good look see at the tensioner and looked ok as far as quality goes Dayco was the belt i used the first time i did it and to be honest it looked ok when i took it apart yesterday but i thought il change it to be on the safe side means it's done it's Miles

Good point jason must say never thought of that one, gues i can run the motor in the yard with the B puley off to see how it sounds means it does it all the time, on the other hand if it was that would the squeaking allmost go when the engine is warm? cos that's what it does..

Mine was squeaking on and off like yours and mainly from cold, when I took the crank pulley off I could see the rubber damper bit breaking up.

I also originaly thought that it was one of the timing belt pulleys cos I've had one go too and it makes approx the same noise.

Good Luck
