Sad days coming up soon, im going to be putting my 2001 disco td5 (owned for 8 years) and my 2003 freelander td4 ( owned for over 6 years) up for sale. Part of the reason ive kept these cars for so long is because of the help and advice from this forum so before they go up for sale locally, fleabay etc i thought id give the forum a heads up incase anyone is interested and would like some extra info or pics. Couple of pics attached. Disco is manual 5 seater, 125k miles. Freelander also manual, 120k miles.[GALLERY=][/GALLERY]

Oops sorry , that was probably the most important info.Im looking for around 1900 for the freelander and 2300 for disco.

Could be interested in the Disco depending on details and price. also location.
Im in Troon, Ayrshire. Disco does have some common faults which i didnt yet manage to fix. Air con loses charge, ( not such a big issue around here). Some corrosion along top of windscreen which can be easily rectified and which i may get done if i think its putting buyers off, otherwise bodywork in good condition. It drives really well. Loads of work done overyears, all typical td5 failings and all servicing i have been doing myself using only genuine or OEM parts. Last MOT i had to get a small patch welded on chassis and an outrigger replaced but tester told me all rest appears solid, i also gave it a good hammering last year and coated with dinitrol and all seemed ok then. Tidy enough car for age and has centre diff with spigot for diff lock so this mod can be done if you are a green laner.

Both landys still available folks, i will be posting more pics i a couple of days after valetting as the current pics prob dont do the justice.
