Time to change alternator

Hi,
Just wondering if anyone would be able to let me know how long it should take to change the alternator on a 2002 4.6 v8?

It took me 1/2 hour but if youre not used to doing mechanical work leave yourself 1 hour and you should be able to do it in that time no problem.

Hi there PAYNEY,would love to know how you got on with changing your alternator as i have to undertake the same service on my P38 this weekend,just wanted to know of any pratfalls i should lookout for,i've changed alternators on other vehicles before but given the complexities of these cars you never know,don't want to knock out the national grid inadvertently,cheers
