Tightening stearing etc..

Evening all, yet another niggly job that the series 3 requires. There's about 2-3" play in the steering. How does one go about fixing this? Big job at all?

I'm sure the Series Land Rover steering box has a nut on the side to adjust the amount of play.

there is, but the cover can be a bugger to get off, depending on how it is fitted.

Fffs ajusting the stearing box should be the last thing you do.
1st check all six ball joints then look for any loose bolts etc.

Tightening stearing etc..
