hi, im looking for a little advise again, when I start my 90 up it sound fine, then I take it for a short run (up to running temperature) then the tick over is slightly faster than when cold
any ideas ? also it seems to be blowing a lot of smoke out the back but ive put that down to needing a good run its been stood for most of a year just the odd start up to get in and out of the garage
regards

One thing I might watch out for is a problem i had on my 2.5D not long ago. The throttle cable had gotten bent over and was catching a bit on retract - sometimes it would drop all the way to tickover, sometimes hold a bit high.

Before you adjust the idle speed i'd have a good look at the linkage for the throttle assembly on the pump - make sure everything's got free travel and is returning properly.

Not sure again how valid this might be but when you said this thing hadn;t been run in once fitted things like linkages and such come to mind.
