Found a SII front panel on fleabay today and instead of hitting the buy it now I phoned the chap to say I'd have it and pick it up this weekend. Hoped I'd save him a few quid on paypal fees.
All went well until he went to take it off sale. Someone else had bagged it. Just what I was after as well.
Oh well, the search continues.

bummer, it is a risk with bin though, had similar, spent too long making my mind up whether to press the button and it went.

you could always try and find out when the guy is collecting then rob him on his way home

or find where the seller lives and pop by during the night to collect for free

are they any different from s3 panels, I think rocky mountain do an aluminium one

Its the front grill panel. The one with the headlights in it.

I think I may have been watching that one too, was it in Grey primer? I do the same thing I watch it for ages, then go fookit I will have it, and it's gone! ARRGH

This one was very mucky. Been in a shed for an age. Still had the light bowls, bit of surface rust but in solid condition. For forty five bats it was well worth it. He has some seats and a wheel up for sale as well. Sick as a chip.

I ideally want one that won't need any welding. Blasting and painting/galvanising ain't a problem.

I bought a "restored" one, the one I took off my S2 needs a fair bit of work to make it useable, including some serious welding.

My welder is too powerful for sheet steel sadly. It just blows great holes in it, Ill keep looking, there is no rush,
