Defender, sorry.

In that case go to your main dealer and buy genuine ones as they are still readily available and you will get the very latest design in door seal and not some reproduction junk from China or the older versions from other stockists.

Yes I am aware that these cost quite a bit more but you won't need to replace them again and it's more or less a permanent solution if you think about the originals lasting 14yrs :)

Where do LR get theirs made?

Where do LR get theirs made?

Good question but do remember that genuine are exactly that and even OEM is not made to the exact same quality as genuine parts, I read a whole thread a few years ago about the humble Hardy Spicer universal joint and the difference between BP blue box, middle of the road, OEM and genuine, startling differences and the genuine parts were the best by far, will see if I can find the fred later, taking the baby out to the park now :)

A question I've asked more than once, admittedly referring more to obsolete mechanical components than body accessories.

I have often thought about creating a resource listing OEM manufacturers and parts but I really don't know where to start as many of those companies cease to exist as they were swallowed up in the globalisation scam.
