I think most places do the same Mark!
While i was at the dealer they had the usual display of new motors inside, the full range, they had 2, disco 3's 3 disco2's and the rest of the stock was Hippo's, bout 40 i counted, all td4 mine no petrols

Result!!!!
took it to the gearbox garage today,the placed that repired it under warranty for the previous owner,
And yep VCU dunt work (Surpise).
the bloke told me he's bin onto his supplier and since it only been on since Jan2006 there going to replace it,NO COST TO MONDO

Recon VCU fitted today, total cost to me "Sod All"

I thought having 4x4 would have dragged a bit of poke out of the motor but NOPE! still goes like an hooligan even managed to get the TC light to pop up breifly
