this is a funny one

went out in rangy this morning parked for 15 mins came back, 100yds to slip road a50 temp gauge goes over to red ,red light cames on pulls over[quick],temp gauge goes to normal ok get home ,go out 15mins later get 10yds fuel gauge goes over to full keep driving ,fuel gauge goes down to nearly empty[where it usually is when the wifes used it ]then ok for rest of day,any ideas

yep, put a earth from alternator bracket to battery, you can use a jump lead for testing purposes. mine did it and i waggled the earth leads and the temp guage moved!!

clean earths and battery terminals too.

Check the power/earths on the BeCM unit under the drivers seat.
