L322 This is a first

Well, I was well chuffed getting the car back, MOT legal again. However I decided NOT to let same garage do the service.. I took it back to the garage I used before, who couldn't find this bloody annoying rattle N/S/F, even after 3 days and 30 miles, the other garage did, but that's another story. Anyway they did a service etc and pointed out a few things, this is where I am at your mercy, he mentioned the ROSE is showing signs of wear, but not excessive. I have never heard this before, so I need your well appreciated experience on these cars to explain, What is it? where is it? and is it really expensive to fix?

Maybe he has a speech impediment and meant HOSE

I had ROSE joints on the suspension of my race car but not aware they are fitted to your road going car.

Hi Datatek, no it was definitely Rose, it was in relation to the rear suspension and the bushes therein, I didn't mention that in the post, sorry.

Well that was very helpful NOT, this is rear suspension bushes related, I think.

Check out item 28450373050 on the Bay seem they fit the lower wish bones and control arms.

I've just put it in and came up with no exact matches but it showed the rose bushes so I checked the number and there's a 0 missing try 284503073050

Unless you have access to a press from memory the advice is to buy the wishbones and control arms complete,best find out which ones.

Good point, I need to know if the garage has this facility first, I have been aware that it might be easier to change the whole "cage" which would include said bushes.

Just been googling the difference between a bush and a rose and this is deffo a rose and I didn't see one of these under there

Sorry couldn't resist

I suspect this bush is actually a rose due to the extra twisting movement

Hi backinblack, good piccys, at least I know now what I am looking at, but I think it will be on the back burner for now, has it only has slight play.
