Where is the Thermistath located on the 1996 2.5dei bmw engine please ?

( if anyone would have a.picture would be brilliant)

Suspect none in from previous owner.
Temp gauge is just staying on quarter and.moves between near half.and quarter whenxdriving.

Hot? Cool, windy and with drizzle, totally grotty day, lit the fire at lunch time. At least I got Fathers day texts from the kids:D Got the TV working again so one positive and I adjusted the seal on the hatch of the project car to try and stop the wheel well filling with water, de rusted it and gave it a coat of stone chip.
 
It's been mold here and no rain... Mini climates.
You've been busy it sounds. My eldest lad rang to say happy fathers day and they are having our first grandchild. Holy life changer!!
You don't need a TV.... We haven't watched TV in years...
