Thermostat??

I knew it wouldn't be long before I found my first problem. The cars temperature gauge rarely sits at half way even on long runs. It also drops down to quarter of the way. Heating didn't feel that hot on the long journey.

Also can you have the air conditioning (snow flake) button on with the temperature set to hot? I do this in other cars as it demists the screen quickly but when i was driving yesterday I had the temperature control set to hot with the air con on and it was blowing ice cold!! As soon as I turn the snow flake off it blows warm. I'm not sure if this is some sort of thermostat problem?

Finally, is there an aux jack point anywhere in the l322
