The things they never tell you!!!

OK...so I now have the '93 Disco from which I am removing the 200tdi engine. All pretty standard stuff...except.... ..I have just discovered that the "gearbox and front axle had been upgraded to 300tdi" - from which I assume it is the R380. So...can I still switch back to the TD bellhousing, and continue as planned...or is there something I should know???
(If so...anyone want the gearbox and axle?)

if it's a R380 reverse will be to the right and down next to 5th. and if it's a LT77 it'll be up and to the left next to 1st.

As to your original question yes you can just fit the TD bell housing to the 200tdi engine.
