Hi, my previous thread concerns the fuel leak my Freelander failed the MOT on. Well I took the wheel arch liner off to expose the fuel pump, filter and Sedimenter but no leaks visble even with engine running. Then I emptied the Seimenter of about couple of egg cup fulls of Diesel.
The day before the MOT I had the hose pipe on under both the rear wheel arches so could that have caused some diesel to Leak?
And can I ask:- The Anti Roll Bar Drop Links I hope to fit on Monday do I need any special tools to fit them?
cheers

Maybe Allen keys and release agent (squirt some around the nuts now) and maybe a wire brush to clean the threads before you start, otherwise they are very simple to remove if not always easy.
As for the fuel leak unless the garage was making it up for a bit of business it must be coming from somewhere.
If it hasn't been changed before already it might be an idea to replace the fuel filter. Swapping the filter is such a pain you're sure to come across any faults while doing it. Jus be careful to take photos before you start.
