Yes it is true, previously we've had LRs but for the last 10 years of Disco & laterly Freelander ownership the most reliable and dependable component has been our "backup" 92' Toyota Starlet.
It has never let us down, never gone wrong, started on the button and always been there when the LRs have been 'sick'. For the last 2 years our daughter has been doing a 50km round trip to uni in it each day and its KMs are mounting to a level a little old 1.3 shouldn't really expect to get to.
But yesterday I got in it to shift it on the drive and the fecker wouldn't start. Battery's completely shot. Fecking useless those Toyotas.
