Hi Chaps,

As avid readers of my posts will know, I have a little boat (and hence a Range Rover). Today we went out from Putney slipway which is liable to flooding at high tide. In the knowledge of this I parked up on the road well away from the slipway, and went off for a lovely trip.

Then returned, and saw this...

Now the last time this happened 4 years ago it wasn't so bad as it was a Discovery I

Fortunately, as it was left in high rise there were no problems but wow I've never been more scared getting back in!

So there we go, next time someone says "why do you need a 4x4 in the centre of London...
 
In light of this though is there anything that should be done asides from greasing the ujs? Time under water was probably an hour
 
Could maybe change your axle oils if your worried about water ingress but doubt its going to be an issue... People forget that Landys are covered in oil underneath thus repel water very well ;)
 
Why? I thought people only did that to prevent valuations when selling?

Stops cloning, as someone has already said. Yours looks almost exactly like mine and armed with those plates the congestion charge and the Dartford Crossing charge becomes a thing of the past for me ...
