iv just done it mine was leaking weekly top up been like it for two years removed top hoses v/fan and cowling no need to take out radiator (excelent) water pump p/steering alternator off.....................
then A FLASH opps should off disconected the battery dam cobra seets u see never mind no harm done wappped off the barackett nearly thought i had a snapped bolt uh ha thread was good just rust on bolt witch goes through a long tight tunnel PHEW now then now then now then as jimmy would say there she was !a hole the size off a beep. the dreADED P GASKET all cleaned up new metal type one with some extra gasket seal all back together washed out water system filled fired up no LEAKS yeah good luck peace and sod the rip off machanic monkeys
PS if this gasket leaks too much its the main water feed so if you like it HOT HOT HOT then another 300 tdI graveyard appears
